Workshops
Dancers Circle presented a series of workshops in collaboration with Khaleghl Quinn, Ph.D., author, composer, Qigong Master, and spiritual teacher.
With music and moving meditations, workshop participants were inspired
to center themselves in tranquility, to deepen their spiritual grounding,
and to discover inner wisdom on their spiritual journeys. In one workshop
Dancers Circle presented the Peace Invocation, a beautiful Creation story,
using Native American Sign Language that speaks to the interdependence
of everything in the universe and calls us to dwell together in peace.
In another workshop Dancers Circle presented the poetry and music of
Hildegard von Bingen and introduced the labyrinth, the ancient spiritual
tool that is a metaphor for what is sacred in our lives. In another workshop
Dancers Circle presented a Lotus blessing dance inspired by the delicate art of
the Chinese tea ceremony.
